Soul Man is a CD for the soul; a combination of Miles Davis, Rick Braun, Chris Botti with a touch of soul. The 12 song CD has more than one whole hour of listening pleasure and features many of the 804 Jazz Allstars in outstanding performances along with great orchestration and arrangements by multi-instrumentalist Bill McGee. Soul Man is an independent release with major label talent, arrangements, production, sound quality. Inspired by the writers of The Harlem Renaissance this great CD contains a balance of six original compositions and six covers of great pop, soul and straight ahead jazz classics.
